Nanxi National Park
Nanxi National Park is an urban planning and landscape project in Wenzhou, China. The area joins ancient towns, valley scenery and daily life along the Nanxi River, and is on the tentative list of world mixed cultural and natural heritage. The plan protects and revives the landscape and the interaction between local people and nature. Building density was controlled through simulation of ecological, hydrological and geological conditions. A music events park between town and river brings modern activity to traditional space.
Nanxi National Park Oriental Landscapes by ZUP was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
