2023 Revive Collection
This collection of scarves looks optimistically to the future in the midst of epidemic and global conflict. The patterns tell a metaphorical tale of pre and post apocalypse with a story involving cellular experiments, mutation, reflection, reconstruction. The unique patterns are created with the Studio's own digital software, which uses body movement to reconstruct digital data and reveal organic details not possible solely by programming. They are asymmetrical and do not repeat. Hand finished, the patterns are digitally printed onto natural fabric which reproduces the detail of the designs.
2023 Revive Collection Wool Scarf by Yen Ting Cho Studio was recognized as a grand illustration of fashion design by the A' Design Award. 2023 Revive Collection Wool Scarf received the Silver A' Design Award in Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design in 2023. The A' Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes superior design of structural fabric, engineered cloth, smart textiles, technical textiles, woven fabric, jacquard fabric, tapestries and more.
