Renaissance
Renaissance seeks the rebirth of a forgotten suburb, deprived of memory, and marked by unhappy episodes. The design concept will restore to the city of Pescara two spaces, besides the restyling of the existing park, a new square will be brought to life by the void created by the demolition of three dilapidated buildings where the architecture of the 70s forms the setting. The circular fountain and the unarranged trees will characterize the design of the square. The design also includes innovative techniques and sustainable materials such as pervious concrete for the surfacing.
Renaissance Urban Regeneration by GIACINTO FABA was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Renaissance Urban Regeneration received the Iron A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2025.
